FYA and YLab acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we all work and live. We recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community and pay respects to Elders past, present and those yet to come. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. This always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
Throughout this report the term ‘First Nations’ is used to refer to both Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples. Unless otherwise stated, the term should be understood as inclusive of both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
