Skills Training and Federal Election Toolkit

FYA opened up its online campaign skills training program, called Making Waves, to all young people across the continent.

In 2025 we ran 11 online training sessions, including one on fighting disinformation in partnership with the Commons Social Change Library and two media-focused sessions in the lead up to the Federal Election.

Additionally we published a Federal Election Toolkit, with the aim of providing young people with the information they need to engage with and influence the electoral process in the lead up to the May Federal Election.
