We help them grow their power sustainably and win ambitious, meaningful change, working alongside a range of youth-led organisations to provide funding, training, and media, event and strategy support.
Key partnerships in 2025 included the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network’s youth program, which FYA supported to run two events for young Palestinians. The first was a Nakba Day gathering in Sydney in May, and in October FYA staff accompanied a delegation of nine young Palestinian Australians to Parliament House in Canberra, to assist advocacy efforts.
We began working with two new partner campaigns. House You is a group fighting for housing justice via its Housing First Not Investor First campaign to end tax subsidies for property investors, and Boorloo Justice is a youth-led organisation exploring the creation of a First Nations youth body in WA. Also in Boorloo / Perth, in December FYA supported Cleveland Dodd’s family as the Coroner’s Report into his death in custody was handed down.
